SA's are encouraged to ask Div and A team for help and A Team members are encouraged to guide and help SA's which most of us do it's just most SA's don't come to us with questions so SA's don't feel embarrassed to ask questions I asked a fuck ton of questions as SA so do it

Admins are already introduced and directed by the div staff upon acceptance unless they have a strong sense of admin from past experience (IE whore hay or philly when they wer accepted)
It doesn’t follow the strict ways that’s mentorship did but it still shows them how to do their jobs.

As Dragonate already said, it feels like this is already a rule of thumb atm until Mentorship and .cL are finally combined and back in action. I also feel like instead of all the training and requirements falling on the Div Staff, the work should be divided up among the team itself. New SA should honestly have most of their fellow staff on their friends list, and in turn the existing staff does what they can to help the new SA. This seems to have already been discussed on this post, I completely agree that some sort of temporary solution should be presented for the time being. But as long as the team works together, answers questions, and helps those who are new with a basic course, they should be okay.

Hell I mean we have an Admin Handbook to also help provide a basic understanding. So let's make sure to spread this as well.

The Admin Handbook really only gives you Commands and Escalation System etc. It doesn't give you anything whatsoever about situations how to tell if someone is scripting or hacking. A common way players might slip through the rules and frustrating situations you might fall in.

Did you even read my post or just the bottom part? I stated it should already be rule of thumb for the team to help new admins and for the new admins to be openly asking questions and talking with each other. We don’t need a separate system to replace mentor ship for the time being. All we need is for the Administrative Team to work together, answer new admins questions, offer advice and communicate well. Which it seems they are already doing, and the reason I stated the admin handbook is SPECIFICALLY for the reasons of escalation and learning commands. That is all.

Not gonna read whatever anyone else posted, but this was what I did when I was div. I was told in the time that mentorship is in limbo (which was assumed wouldn't be very long, but looks like it'll never happen at this point) we were expected to mentor every SA that was accepted. Guess the responsibility was never passed on, evidenced from this post, and the admin-ing I've seen whenever I get on the server, i.e Matz. No disrespect to him, but at least when I was getting on again at first he would constantly be like, I don't know how to do that, what command is that, etc. Again, not saying he's a bad admin he was just evidently not mentored, at least not at that point.

edit: just wanted to add that matz isn't like that anymore, at least from what I've seen, just when I first was playing again I noticed he really didn't know what he was doing.

No clue why a suggestion is really needed for this, SA(s) should be approaching Advisory Team or Divisional Staff with any questions they may have.
Divisional Staff should also being taking the role of making sure the new admin knows their responsibilities before attempting anything.

For Jailbreak this already happens, it is a learning process. You mess up something once and you learn from it and move on. During the weekly JB meetings I've seen SAs and A-Team ask div staff questions about things they do not know.

There doesn't need to be a formal process for this, due to the nature of the position this happens already.
