OK OK OK Before i start, i know this is gonna sound radical and unpopular at first, but hear me out. don't be afraid to call the idea retarded if you really believe it is

1. Describe the Suggestion: remove the /ctguns plugin from the jailbreak server. I know it sounds weird, but I think the plugin is useless in the first place. Map makers put armory in for a reason, that reason being its a safe place for ct's to spawn in and stock up on weapons. As it stands now, it doesn't serve half of its intended purpose. The plugin can honestly break the balance of a map, because if all of the ct's can have AWPs on a map like undertale, they can stand 3000 feet away and just snipe rebelling t's, making it near impossible to rebel. Which is why undertale has that limited supply of AWPs. Or on a map like quake which, to be fair, has a very unique armory system, has a skill element to getting better guns as a CT.

Overall, I think it would balance out some of the most popular maps, because the armories are laid out in such a way that a plugin like /ctguns throws off the flow intended by the map makers.

3. Possible positive impacts: Provides a use for armory besides for rebelling t's, gives incentives to grab guns on limited supply, like awps on Arcade/Undertale, maps like Quake will play out properly as there is a skill element to getting guns.

the buy area is an intended part of the map. if the map maker thinks the map flows well with a buy area, then their wishes should be honored. It's not like the server is set up to give 16000 auttomatically. any money spent in those buy areas has to be earned in some way or another

I know you aren't a believer so it is harder for you to understand, but basically what I am saying is I am going to die and when I die I will be in paradise with God. Not saying he is killing me, but saying I will be glad to die and I am not scared of death which is part of the reason I vape and do drugs. I'm sorry but -devouch if on certain maps certain amount of guns spawn. If CT's end up using a weapon that they are not good at using
that just makes the T have an advantage.
Every map has a certain amount of good guns like ak47s awps scouts deagles m4a4s m4a4ss, if cts can't use those guns why are they even playing ct?

off the top of my head i can't think of any map that doesn't have AK's or M4's, and if a ct can't use one of the two to a degree of competence, they deserve what's coming to them.

im too lazy to read any of the other replies so this might have been said already but you said there is a limited number of awps on undertale so the CTs dont all have awps, but if ctguns is removed then the rebelling Ts can never have an awp :( this is so sad plz like and subscribe

@Cunty McGiggles CTGuns basically allows CT's to pick any weapon they want at the start of the round instead of having to use armoury with potentially limited supply.

Go back to when this suggestion was made. Why was this needed in the first place? Why didn't armoury suffice? Ngl idk why ct guns exists so i can't answer that lol. get rid of it barely anyone uses it anyway.

2.) causes more time for Ts to rebel while the CTs are in armory; most maps that are played have a decent vent that usually opens before or during the CTs movement out of armory, only case I see this being time as a problem for Ts is avalanche because the vent health is dogshit in one of the cells

I've already adressed your first concern, but I guess I shall reiterate: if a certain gun is missing or limited, there is likely a good reason for it. Whether it be the map maker didn't see it as necessary, or that it just doesn't work for the map. If a ct can't adapt to not being able to use a five-seven over a deagle or an m4a4 over an m4a1-s, why are they on ct in the first place


The timings for 4 main maps with vents in cells, breakable or otherwise. I have left a few out because a) the guns are on the ct's way out of armory, thus making the timing redundant (like clouds) or b) the timings for the vents vary so much that an accurate measure of timing would be too time  consuming/ too complicated for my peanut brain to work out. Anyways, here are the results:

Avalanche:

Ramp cell:
Break/escape with best possible spawn: 11.43
Time for Ct’s to reach with ak/deagle and worst possible spawn: 11.11

Bottom cell:
Break/escape best possible spawn: 7.11 (Not even possible to reach WITH ctguns plugin)

Peanut:

Cell vent:
Best possible spawn break/escape: 8.60
Time for CT’s to reach with ak/deagle: 7.7

Vipinthemix

Bottom Left Vent:
Best possible spawn break/escape: 6.90
Time for CT’s to reach with ak/deagle; bad spawn: 8.44
Time for CT’s to reach with ak/deagle; good spawn: 7.03
