Pointer = Go

1. Describe the Suggestion: When a pointer is placed, it's implied to go to it. Lately it's been a regular thing to place a pointer without saying anything and kill anyone going to it, and in my opinion that's toxic as fuck, and just leads to depop and confusion. Wardens can still use pointers to reference stuff by just saying "Don't go to this pointer".

3. Possible positive impacts: New players won't leave, depop won't happen.
4. Possible negative impacts: If a warden accidentally places a pointer T's might go to the wrong place? But this can generally be fixed by just saying "ignore that pointer".

That’s not ares’ point. His point is, is that killing someone because they went to the pointer when no clear orders against it were given, is toxic.

+Vouch Great idea, we need more rules like this that will battle against extremely strict wardens.
Characters decided to ask, "why did Bluetactical get accepted". Now this really hurt my feelings

The example you listed pissed me off the most during Latenight. People were taking over warden and the warden said don’t go to the pointer, but I only heard pointer, and a bunch of us Ts went to it and got killed. Shit like that is toxic as fuck and if I see it while I’m on CT I’ll admit I’ll try and get them swapped for that.

Hi, I think this could be worded better. I do not believe pointers should equal go to them but I believe orders like AFK freeze and then place a pointer to kill new people for no reason should not be allowed and swapped for being a very bad warden.

Yes it is, it is literally the tittle of the post and the first line of the description.

Ofcourse killing T's following pointers without any order given is toxic, ever heard of warning shots? Admins are responsible for unwardening / swapping off toxic wardens.

Using that logic the warden can also just say follow my pointers.

Saying a ct shouldn't be warden because they can't give orders is anything but futile, rules shouldn't be changed because of bad wardens.

Yall are literally missing the point, this suggestion has nothing to do with the warden being lazy or incapable, it's about the warden being toxic, and newer people getting killed because of it. Characters hit it right on the head, though I do think dope has a point in his comment.

Warden Rules
18.When a pointer is placed down, it is implied for the Ts to go to it. (Simply state for the Ts to not go to a pointer if you want to reference something with a pointer).
