pretty sure this is a limitation based on mybb? not too sure, i dont think it exists or if there is an already made plugin for it.

Yes I know you can upload on imgur or stuff like that, but dragging and dropping images would be SOOOOO much easier.

SMF 2.1 is supposed to drastically improve the image handling.

Other than that, development work should be focused elsewhere imo. It's not hard to use Imgur or another image hosting site.
