About Me

Jeez, where to start... Well let's start off that I'm originally adopted from Russia. I was born in Russia in 1996 and then brought to Great Britain for two years. After those two years, my family and I moved to New York City, where I currently live. Sometimes I do wonder what my life was like if I wasn't adopted by the same family as I am now and stayed in Russia; however, I'm very thankful for what I have and I wouldn't trade it for the world. All of my past experiences have made me who I am today and for that, I'm thankful for all the good and bad things happening to me. I'm currently in a junior in college, attending college in New York, and studying biology and music.
I've always adored science and music. They have been such big inspirations and influences in my life. I've been playing the guitar for five years and due to those classes, I'm currently being classically trained in acoustic guitar at my college. I'm also being trained to sing on the side by trained singers who are my wonderful friends. In terms of science, it's been my passion since freshmen year of high school. That was when I took my first "real" biology class and I utterly adored it. It was when I really learned how interconnected everything is and how life really operates at different levels. It intrigued me and I did really well in the class. The next year I took AP Biology and from that year forward, I told myself that I would become a biology major in college. I've now come to terms that I want to go on and get my Ph.D and teach biology at a college level and help students learn and discover their passion(s) in life. The fact that I currently am paid to be a tutor at my college also aided me in wanting that to be my future profession.
In terms of playing video games, it all started when I was under the age of six when I first started playing computer games. The games were nothing fancy and were probably just pong or something. As the years went on, I got more into gaming and inherited a Nintendo 64 from my cousins. They had many games for the system and I enjoyed playing all of them. In all honesty, I still haven't beaten Banjo Kazooie! I would highly suggest the game because it's utterly hilarious and very difficult, in my opinion. I also got Mario Kart 64, which is probably where my love for Mario games came from. If I remember correctly, my next system was a Nintendo GameBoy and I had Tetris, Kirby, and a few other games for it. I don't think I even beat the Kirby game for it! Jeez, I really need to beat that game at some point. For now, let's skip to when I really got into computer games (I'll get more into my past later when I edit this more). I discovered Steam by chance when an add for it played before one of the Youtube videos I was watching. I made my account and then that was it. My soul was sold to Steam and the devil at that point, despite going to church many times, though I am not that religious. I really only went for the beautiful organ music, in my opinion. My first game on Steam was Team Fortress 2, if I remember correctly, and adored the game and the community I joined their. The original community I joined there does not exist anymore; however, it was callled DrunkenBombers and that was where I met my first Steam friends (I'm honestly tearing up typing this because of all the fond memories I had on there. I'm an emotionally fragile person when it comes to fond memories.....ok?). After DrunkenBombers died, my friends and I went to a new community called A Personal Problem, APP, and made that our home. I got very much into sniping in TF2 and expanded my servers to sniper v. sniper servers to get better at the sniping skill. In my sniping endevours I met MANY amazing snipers and many close friends who I still talk to. Through sniping in TF2 I became the co-owner of The Sniper Hideout clan. After more time, I bought CS:S and was utterly horrible at it. I was so bad at it that I stopped playing it and went back to TF2 for some time. Then my friend Havoc suggested me and our friend group buy CS:GO because he was having a wonderful time in it. So, we did and from then on, I was hooked onto CS:GO. Havoc, myself, and two others, Toasty and Bot, rose the ranks together and achieved Supreme Master First Class (Remember, this was before the matchmaking update so it was different). In between the time of earning SMFC, I also found a lot of fun in playing GMod. In GMod, I found a community called Strickland Propane and became an admin on their survival server after spending about 100 hours in their server. I stayed an admin on their survival server until the bitter end when the communities servers had to be shut down due to barely an influx of money. Over this time in CS:GO I found many different communities and enjoyed being a part of them. On CS:GO I have had admin experience in two communities, GreenPhoenix and GiClan (Which I recently left for Tango). On GiClan I was one of their admins on the surf server. I've amassed over 4000 hours in CS:GO and thousands of other hours in other games. I wouldn't trade that time spent in those games any other way.
