1. First Name: Andrew (Call me Andy)
2. Age: 17 years old
3. Timezone: EST Timezone
4. How long have you been an official member?: In total a week and counting.
5. Are you comfortable reaching a weekly recruitment goal?: I don't mind doing it.
6. Were you referred to apply?: Not that I know of.
7. Do you administrate on any of the servers?: I am a admin on JailBreak, paid for it.
8. What servers do you use and for how many hours each week?: I play mostly JailBreak and oh boy I can't even guess how much hours I put in the server, usually in the summer it was 10-15
hours per day (Got recordings 10 hours long) and uh well now since school has started for me I would say I put about 5-8 hours from Monday to Friday and Saturday to Sunday should be about 10-15
hours. As for the other servers well last I checked for 1v1 arena it was 8 hours or so and climb about 2-4 hours if I am correct, usually just get on there with some tango friends.
9. What made you apply for Mentor?: So this is an interesting question for me, it has been 4 years that I have been in and out of this community and I can't seem to get away from it which
by the way I would never at this point. Each time I leave, I keep getting attracted to this server like a magnet (Literally not bluffing) so I gave it another chance August 16, 2020, at about 8:10
pm which surprisingly a lot of people welcomed me back, that is when I started helping out the community, donating for items and admin, to help as much as I can and actually accomplish what I can
in this community and one last thing is to make a difference here (Redeem myself from the mistakes of the past I would say. And uh a good difference not a bad one.)
10. Who have you recruited into the community?: Well while on JailBreak I try my best to welcome new people and showing them where they could find information at such as website and discord.
I never actually think someone might have joined the community from my suggestion but I can say I have helped a lot of people in need of help on the JB server. (That also includes new people that
join the discord I do also welcome them all the time.)
11. What is the best part of Tango?: I think the best part of Tango are the people in it. The people that keep it running all the time, the ones that play it and the ones that try their best
to help this community become what it is to this day. I don't think of it as just a community that people get on and off, from morning to night. I think of it as a place where people can go and not
think their shitty day, excuse my language, or where they don't have to worry about someone making fun of them and or watching their back all the time. So the answer the question as short as possible,
the best part of Tango is that this is a place where everyone have each others backs, are there for people in need of support, a friend even. That is the best part of Tango World Wide.
12. What is the worst part of Tango?: I am gonna keep this one short since it should be plain and simple. The worst part of Tango is not Tango, it is , also said above, people. Not the ones mentioned
above but the ones that try to ruin the fun for someone, the ones that try to bring someone down for their performance or whatever it might be. I will say this though, that is why we have admins and the Tango
Staff Members, to take care of these types of people, and I trust they do that.
13. What would you change about Tango?: This right here is a difficult question... nothing comes to mind that I would want to change in Tango, except well for Q.12 I would enforce (not change) the rules
that benefit the people in Q.11. What I mean by that is I have seen a type of behavior in JB that brings people down as mentioned in Q.12 and I think that is what I would enforce/change in Tango. I get it, this
is an online game but the thing is people get hurt by these types of thing. They go to online to get away from these types of things and I think we should help them out and enforce the rules about harrasment,
disrespect, bullying, etc..
14. What differs you from other applicants?: Nothing actually does differ me from other applicants, to be honest. I am just saying what should be said and doing it actually while I am online. Anyone would
have said the same thing in this application elsewhere. Kept this short no problem.
15. Why do you want to see Tango grow?: I have been on and off in this community since 2016 October 16th 11:39 AM, yes I have learned the date registered. So I have seen it grow for almost 4 years and it
became such a big community. It has a lot of potential to grow more than the people who founded it could have ever imagined. I want to see Tango grow, because after all they went through, they honestly deserve it
more than any other community in CS:GO. It just makes people come back like a magnet including me, because of how they treat their members and new-comers, they treat them how they deserve to be treated which I don't
see that in many communities.
16. If I was interested in joining Tango how would you convince me to join?: This question is the one that I answered last, since it was kind of a difficult question or maybe I just thought I wanted to save it
for last. I would tell them how much of an amazing community this is and that you can get attached very easily to it, like how I have been. You will consider it as a group of friends, I can even say sometimes a second
family (cringy to some lol). It has such a good effect to your life with what this community offers. Plenty of different things like University of Tango, different types of groups that they can join, people to help you
with homework which by the way that is very very nice, and well the best for last we will always be there to help each other with anything really, almost anything, okay most things. Rules are rules what can I say lol.
17. To you what is the importance of having the Mentor division in Tango? It is a very important division in the community, it helps new-comers and members to understand how Tango works, introduce them to the
rules and helps them step by step on becoming a member, my experience with my old Mentor was amazing. Not only that he was my Mentor, he also became a friend of mine. Which brings me to the fact that Mentors not only
help people join the community but also introduce them to the people of this community, which if the newcomers really want to join, those people they met will probably become their friends, like what I had happened to me.
I probably deffered myself from the question, but this answer I gave just shows how important a Mentor can be to someone. It can literally be one of the best people you have met. I will end this saying if it wasn't for the
Mentor Division well I wouldn't be where I am today and Tango itself wouldn't be where they are today without them.
18. Is there anything else you'd like to add?: Thanks for having me in this community, again. You know uh I will say this, it's alright if this gets denied, still will feel the same way and still will give my all to this.
Thank you to whoever read this whole thing.
