Temp Leaves / To Tango.

Four years ago I started up CS:GO, looking for something that kept me excited in times where I was bored. I joined multiple community servers looking for one that peaked my interest.
Then I found Tango.
@Fizzik, I still remember the days playing Minigames together. I still have the Batman and Red chat & name colors that you gave me. I didn't realize that it would've led to me meeting so many people that I now consider to be lifelong friends.
This is the community that I grew up with. I will go for the rest of my life knowing that I met so many of my current friends through an online server. Never did I think that I would spend almost the entirety of my free time from high school on this game. I can't even think of how many times I checked the forums even during classes.
I have an unbelievable amount of stories and interactions with people that I will never forget. I experienced probably every emotion here, and I have never once met any of you in person. That shows how much this community has meant to me.
To the people that have stuck by me throughout everything, and the ones that gave me every opportunity to keep the server that I grew up with going, I thank you.
I say with absolute certainty that my time here isn't done. College has really put my life in perspective, and I sadly no longer have the time that I used to. I noticed that since the first week of classes. However, I know that I will be around in the future. I'm not sure what to expect. I just know that a lot has changed since August.
I would make a list of all the people that made me who I am today, but that would be 100+ tags.
Thank you all for making my life exciting.
@balon, I wish you the best in the future of Tango and I am forever thankful for the opportunities that you gave me here. No other community has ever come close to me. Keep it going for as long as possible.

Jailbreak / The Logistics of a Map Rotation
« on: August 12, 2020, 03:58:38 pm »At first I did not want to try this, but I understand that Jailbreak needs a change for the better.
When @Carl suggested a map rotation, I thought about the possible depop that would come from it. I now understand that we could be getting depop from a new issue.
Overplayed maps.
Without a weekly change, the maps that people vote for get repetitive and reduce the interest in many that play this server frequently. In order to make a change, this rotation has to be as effective as possible in the long term. I have come up with three options. These are revisable, and if you have another idea in mind, please post below. The likes on your post will be considered votes.
We also have to define what maps are overplayed. This is my current list:

This community would not be where it is now without proper funding. I want to keep the community that I grew up with running.

Jailbreak / [Summer 2020] TF & UR Event!

Our units are needed more than ever. Summer 2020 will be the clash between Taskforce and Uprising.
We will be hosting a two month event for our Taskforce and Uprising members. This event is based on pure activity. In order to win, you must be the most active contributor to your group in-game.
Are you currently not in Tango? No worries. You have 2 weeks from this post to apply and make it into a group. The event will begin on July 11, 2020.
Rules
- In order to participate in this event, you must consistently be active on the Jailbreak server. The top 3 players from each group with the highest amount of activity will win prizes.
- You are not allowed to AFK hours. If you are caught AFKing hours, your playtime on that specific day will be deducted.
- To prove that someone is AFKing, please send @Philly a PM on the forums or over Discord (Phillip#1234) of a video / demo of the person being inactive for several minutes at a time. It can be fast forwarded, but it has to be a video. Do not send me any screenshots as proof, as they will not be considered valid pieces of evidence.
- If you are caught AFKing 3 times during the duration of the event, you will automatically be disqualified from the event and are subject to removal from your respective group.
- If you switch groups midway through the event, your activity will be reset and will only be counted with your new group.
- All other Jailbreak rules still apply. If you are banned from the server, you will not be given any special treatment regarding your playtime.

Does anyone else have late night thoughts about their entire existence? Not in a depressing or happy way, but just the overall thought of how and why we are here? How are we in a universe? How do we exist?
