First and foremost, I want to say that spending my last 5 years with this community has been something that I will forever cherish. The relationships and memories I have within this community are something that I will forever remember, and most definitely will share stories with Cameron even if he grows up with different interests in mind. I've made friends, enemies, memories, and even regrets with this community. I've gained & lost a lot regarding not only myself, but my time and energy as well. I've put my heart into this community to try and put my mark on it to feel like I contributed to the better of it and frankly sitting in Legend it's been a proud honor for me.
I've decided to take another step in my life, my family is now finally whole. We have a house, a beautiful baby boy, and we now share a last name. A lot of you have seen me rise and even fall hard, but have helped me get back on my feet and some of you have put so much trust and care into me that there is not enough words to explain my endless gratitude towards the efforts and support you have given me when I absolutely needed it. I'm far from a person that could ever take handouts, and some of you persisted even when I didn't want it.
I do not want to try and mention each and every person that had some type of impact on my time within tango because I do it way to much... but let me say from the bottom of my heart to the people that should have to hear it. I love you guys for being such amazing friends, I couldn't trade the experiences and memories I've made in this community for anything in the world.
This is the best fucking community hands-fucking-down. I don't give two fucks what anyone has to say. Fuck anyone that thinks otherwise.
If you got negative shit to say keep it off this post. Make the most out of your life, live it your fucking way. I've chosen the way I wanted to live mine and I couldn't be happier.

What a wild ride this has been. From calling Xb a retard on the forums and getting kicked out of .cL to running 1v1, to being Jailbreak A-team most of my time in Tango. I've had so many great memories with this community and I wouldnt trade them for anything in the world. The people I've met in Tango have changed me and have made some of my darkest days brighter. of course that always comes with its downsides, because my god have I met some giant morons here.
Ive made lots of friends who I will probably keep in contact with throughout my military career and so on. I never thought I would be making one of these but if life has taught me anything its to expect the unexpected. Thank you gamers for all of the fun memories that I will carry with me until I die. Boot camp for the marines is on July 13th so that should be fun lmao.

General / [CS:GO] Combating VPNs

Some new measures have been put in place to prevent banned players from evading and joining our servers.
!vpncheck
This command is available for admins SA+. It uses an API to check if players are on VPNs, proxies, or otherwise hosted connections.
There are three possible responses which an admin can receive after VPN checking a player.
Good - The player is not on a VPN. They are connecting from a residential or business IP address.
Non-Residential - The player is definitely connecting via VPN/proxy/host. If a player is suspected to be ban evading, you can ban them.
Inconclusive - It cannot be determined if the player is on a VPN, or a good IP address. This means that a positive occurred, but it could be false. Pay attention to these players and handle at your discretion.
The command for this functionality is described below:
NOTE: Using a VPN is not against our rules. This tool is to help you identify players who may be evading bans.
Player Filter
We will no longer be allowing F2P accounts to connect to our servers if they are using a VPN. Regular F2P accounts will still be able to connect, as will all admins.
The filtering plugin detects if a player is F2P, as well as checks if they are using a VPN. If they meet both conditions, the detection is logged and they are kicked from the server until they turn the VPN off.
This is not 100% accurate, it will not false-positive, but it may miss players on some connections.
A whitelisting feature and cooresponding forum-based web interface has been implemented. Players who require a whitelist will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
