It's been a long time since I was here and I've learned a lot; Recounted an encyclopedia worth of memories (good, bad, and ugly).

I have periodically, within the last 5 or so years, checked this forum to see what has changed since I last was a member. A little piece of me expected to see this very post 3-4 years ago. That's probably why I would check back in every so often. But, every time I checked back the community was still here, chugging away, weekly council meetings and all. It kind of shocked me and I started to think that this would never come to an end. That's what makes it more surreal to read this announcement now.

I have to hand it to @balon because it is incredible what he has done. The less mature side of me used to internally hate the man. I would tell myself he was on a power trip destined to have all control. But, the reality was that balon had a goal, to make the best gaming community he could, and he would calculate every decision he made to achieve that goal. As staff rolled through the ranks here at TW, there was one name that stayed and made everything possible. Props to you TJ and everything you have accomplished and will accomplish in your future.

1. First Name: Jacob
2. Age: 19
3. How long have you been in TangoWorldWide: 3 years, 3 months, and 26 days
4. What have you contributed to TangoWorldWide? My first contribution to Tango was in assisting aPn in creating the first ever Tango minecraft server. aPn was not familiar with Linux (which was the OS of the server). So, with the permission of balon I began to create a minecraft skyblock server for apn. This was how I got into staff (Divisional Staff of Minecraft) where I then created two more servers due to a change in demand of the server type wanted by our community. Unfortunately due to the dying minecraft community, these servers did not take off. I eventually ended up spending considerable amounts of time moderating a few of our CS-GO servers, I also spent a lot of time on the forums where I would look to find resolutions in open abuse complaints/player disputes. This led me to post a well needed "How to" for providing abuse evidence here. As time passed I become a well recognized and respected member of the community with very few complaints coming my way. Generally, people would talk to me in our servers and had no problems with me. Later on, I asked balon about being relocated to cL Lead which he found to be a good fit for me. Unfortunately, after receiving the re-position, my activity in the community slowly decreased leading up to my demotion and then ultimately my absence in the last year or so. Also, I helped beta test TangoRP, TangoStore, and helped with designing some Tango Servers Gfx (although balon didn't like them).
5. What in TangoWorldWide has influenced you the most: I have been a part of a large number of communities throughout the years that I have been playing video games. But, I have never found a community that is able to outlive my own interest in it. Usually the communities I am a part of dwindle after a few years. But, Tango has a different kind of organization that allows new players to hold positions and brings in a new player base every few months.
6. Have you been staff in Tango? What positions?: Yes: (In order) Divisional Staff of Minecraft>Division Leader of Minecraft>Junior Personnel>Senior Personnel>Group Leader of .cL>Senior Personnel [I think this is accurate but I could be confusing some of the order]
7. What separates you from other potential members who would want to become Honorable Members?: I have been a part of Tango for a long enough time to see how the community has changed and I still have people today who seem to remember who I am when I join Tango servers.
8. Have you applied before to the Honorable Member Program (2.0) but were rejected? [Yes/No] Yes

I am reapplying as a feel that I have spent enough time in this community and put enough time into helping it improve to be able to receive the "Honorable" title. Between countless hours on mumble and then teamspeak, minigames, surf, jailbreak, and climb -- I feel that I have had a large enough impact.

Hey, doomy! Long time no talk. I really appreciate the mention. Dude I miss playing CEVO open with you man. That stuff was fun. Also, I'm glad you are sticking around even though I may not be active like I used to be. Hopefully we can play again some time. @Lt.DoomY

Java is a good language to learn when starting off. It gives you enough knowledge to learn other languages and understand the various syntax changes between languages. But, balon is not wrong, java is a poorly optimized language that is not very practical for anything that relies on insanely fast performance. But, I don't think java will be disappearing anytime soon. It is too standardized among medical equipment, machinery, and server data basing applications.

Experience: I know a lot of java... like too much... I wasted a lot of time on this language

And I know the bare minimum of javascript, html, and php.

There's tons of great artists out right now for every style, you just have to look on places other than the radio.

There's your party rap, lyrical rap, turn-up rap, conscious rap, etc. The genre is so diverse in all the different sounds that fall under "Rap/Hip-Hop". You can go from listening to Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth's T.R.O.Y. to Denzel Curry's Ultimate and it's all the same genre.

The diversity is what makes it my favorite genre of music.

I'm glad you got in on this. I miss you.

Ok, well as a snobby audiophile and musician like myself: do not get any headphones that have the word "gaming" in the name. They are crappy and will always be overpriced. If you want good sound and a good mic either get a standing condenser mic or a mod mic and a pair of headphones made by audio technica or beyerdynamic. There are other brands but it's not worth the effort to list more.
