CS:GO Comp Tournament:

We need to get the homies fired up for the summer and get an influx of people back into the community from CS:GO. I’ve played in a couple of tournaments similar to this before and they’ve all seem to work immensely well even for very small communities. Basically it’s a CS:GO Competitive Tournament. I’ve been hosting 10 Man events and I get DM’s almost  weekly to host more from all sorts of people. Basically what I plan to do is host a CS:GO Competitive Tournament. With the planning of Summer Games happening soon I think this could be a real blockbuster event. The only thing I expect to hear negatively about this event is that it won’t support Jailbreak. We need help throughout the spectrum of CS:GO and not only JB. I’ve heard a couple weeks ago that we have a backlog of CS:GO skins that can be used to be given away that we haven’t used in any event yet. The event is going to need a big prize to attract as many people. We only have the test server that seems to be at our disposable and without my knowledge haven't been used yet. We have some aspiring dev’s like Trabolt and Aycliffe that are looking for a small project to be done to prove their capabilities. I think developing a plug-in or editing one of the many many many PUG plugins would be very useful for not only them but to hopefully have some people to develop other thing’s for the community with some experience under their belt.  We may not even need a Dev because a plug-in like this is very minimal, hell even I could do it, or may not even need a specialized plug-in and just use the default Valve Comp plugins. This event cannot be done on a popflash so a server would be optimal. I don’t know if that Test Server is being used to set up the 1v1 server but hopefully there’s a workaround. The server obviously wouldn’t even have to be running at all times just during the matches of the event. Now that prizes and what the tourney would be played on the last thing seems to be the actual make-up of the tournament. Obviously we want as many people playing in it as possible but we want as many people to join our community as members. Team’s will be made up of 5 player’s and 2 subs, at least 1 player must be a member of Tango and the other’s must be registered on the forum’s. They will register for the tournament by the captain replying to the event post and filling out the following:

If not a lot of team’s register for the tournament or too many registers we can change the amount of required members per team. We can also up the prizes as people join because we wouldn’t want to give away loads of skins to a 4-team tournament. But an average range of prize is going to be needed to be given as incentive. Each match will be played on Friday or Saturday at night and will be streamed on Twitch with commentators. 10 Man I created in the past and streamed on Twitch have had 20+ viewers throughout the stream and with an event like this I could see pull 30+ people continuously. This event is going to be held over multiple weeks so maybe like the Final can be done during Summer Games or can run somewhat through it. It would also be great if we worked with other communities to gain as many people as SNG but not Fallen Network  There’s some more detail that I have left out but this is just a mock description of what I want to do. I now have to go eat dinner and have used this time to write this out that I could’ve used to study for my AP Lang Exam tomorrow .

JB Activity Event:

JB obviously needs some love too, Me and Ldcommish we’re going to host an activity event when we first became div but decided to hold it off till the end of spring/beginning of summer . Event is simple, over a two week period whoever has the most activity wins. Gametracker can be used to track hours. If people think they have a chance of winning they can reply to the original post of the thread with:

This event is fairly simple and closely resembles the TF VS UR event I think Philly hosted but is more inclusive to all people including members. JB Items are great but they're overused and people don’t trust that these items are going to be of use if the server is running like this right now. CS Skins would be the best option in my opinion or Steam Gift Cards. JB Items don’t completely have to be out of the mix and can be used for lower place finishes. Thinking just like a max of 5 winners, lower levels get JB Items possibly then the higher the rank then switch to CS Skins/Other items. Each winner would also receive raffle tickets to summer games if we want this event to run concurrent to summer games. Like I said in the other event this is lacking detail and I will add more but I have to go eat dinner Mexican food :burp:




JB Skill Event:

I haven’t given too much thought into this but this idea has been thrown by players about a skill event of sorts. Like most people to get lr in like a 2 week period. Or the most successful day. Don’t know how this can be tracked really but would be interesting to think about.








So yeah those are my ideas so far. Going to write some drafts for some of these to get a nailed down detailed idea that can be shown.
